Personally, I think its ugly, especially the front end. Sad that this is the best they can do, compare this car with a 70 Torino for example.

No offense guys I mean I like it and all but it looks like ford is trying to copy the 300c. Actually it looks better than the 300c.

I agree...FORD keeps using that "thick chrome bar" grille front end treatment and it is just plain ****LY!

It looks as bad as Chevy's signature "chrome bar through the middle of the head lights" B.S.

BTW: The new Chevy Tahoe's front end styling/design is really sharp looking...they finally gave up on that dumb a$$ chrome bar crap.

PLEASE FORD!... design a good looking vehicle and put something besides that weak 3.0 V6 in it.
As much as I like technology, overhead cams, and multi-valve heads...there is something to be said for good 'ole SIMPLE pushrod engines with some CUBIC INCHES.

Can you say Z06?....HEMI?....LS1?....LS2?? ??

If you told me 20 years ago that Ford was introducing an Overhead Cam, Aluminum Head, 330 cubic inch V8 I would have done cartwheels!...the reality is a lot of disappointment:

I drive a 2003 F150 4X4 with the Triton 5.4 V8. I have never been so UNimpressed by a V8 in my life.
This pig has little torque, NO top end, and still manages to burn fuel at a ferocious rate!

 ....:(

By next year I will be able to use my FORD Stock as toilet paper! ..:mad2:

:hijack:....sorry.

I agree 100% My Father has a 04 F-150 with the Triton and I was very unimpressed with the amout of HP the Engine is rated at compared to the way it feels.
We have a 91 F-250 with the old 7.3 Diesel in it as a work truck and that feels quicker then the 5.4 gas engine.

Would a 3 valve 281 fit?

Think I've seen this car before....

...oh yeah. Last seen trying to run over James Brolin and ending up
driving over a cliff...and blowing up.

Wonder if it's got the Kenworth horn in it too...

No, it looks like a re-work of the 427 concept, which is not a 'copy' of the DCX 300.

I personally dont mind the new look if they so choose to go with it. Just dont kill reliability and the 4.6.

Thats all i ask. =)

The 08 Crown Vics and Grand Marquis go into production in May of this year with only a 3 day shutdown for model changeover according to the Ford Corporate website. Thus, in my opinion making a facelift due in model year.2009 at the earliest. RAM

Get in a front ender with either of those or a Chrysler 300, what bill your insurance company will have.........

Other than that I say the interceptor look is ok, still needs something maybe a rakeback from the bottom of the headlight to the top into the hood/fender.

The revamped CV /GM is just plain ugly.

Best regards,
