'03 Special Interceptor???

Anybody know of a special limited edition '03 CV? I didn't notice an Interceptor badge on the back. It had the "sport" wheels and big chrome tips out the back but they were angled down. I was talking with the guy and he said they were limited to only 50 per state. He said it had the same motor as us but different heads so more HP. I didn't have time to get out and check under the hood. Is he full of it or should I card him next time I see him?

So wait... lemme get this straight....
50 per state is 2500 cars, right? It's 2007 and we've had 4 years to learn about production numbers and sister cars. We can keep track of Marauder production down to factors in hundreds (example 300 ish blue), right? So how in the hell did we miss 2500 sister cars that are supposedly FASTER than Marauders? We have many member with BLUE and many with CV's and GM's. How did we manage to never have a member with such a special vic?
It just don't make no sense!

He's definitely full of it. Ford didn't build ANY limited edition CVs...dealers sometimes did, but they were cosmetic packages only. All CVs came with the same 2V motor, from the base model all the way to the Police Interceptor. There are no "different heads". :bs:

My BS detector was going off but I let him keep going. He was parked at the local car wash so I'm sure I'll see him again. Next time, I'll get him to pop the hood and I'll even go so far as to take down the VIN.
