Bingo.

The only time(s) I've seen this done, is when it was with a police department. Also note that it has an NMO chrome police style radio antenna on the trunk. Mabe this was an unmarked police car.

Not from the factory, but some departments do use them.

Here's a pic of a retired King County, WA Sheriff car.

Retired CHP unit

As you can see, both of these retired police cars has a fender mounted antenna. I've seen more units with this mod.

Florida Highway Patrol has (at least I think they're still in service) a bunch of them. I think around 20.

I have seen a Marauder in use for LEO's in NJ and CT.
I almost raced the guy in CT til I saw the rear deck had Strobes and Lights.
The one in NJ had 2 guys pulled over.

I suspect the original owner was somebody who wanted it to look like a police car with the antennas on it?

I saw a CHP CVPI on Ebay with it, too. I guess whoever put these in forgot that they could be power retractable, too. :shake:

The car also looks like it has been lifted by about 2 inches all around.

Maybe it was a police officer's P.O.V.

A couple of things could make it look higher. 1, we've all had ours lowered for so long that a normal height looks too tall. Another is if for somereason they had it up on a jack (maybe to jockey it around in the showroom? I've done this to make mine fit in limited space for storage). When you set it down again, the suspension is usually a bit "jacked" until the car rolls again. Just a couple of thoughts.
Another thing I noticed is that its an 03, but hasn't got the clock in the trim strip. I didn't think that this got deleted till 04? Maybe its just a US thing, though.

That's an '03 300B indicator. Same as mine ... no clock in the trim strip.
