Bobby Hamilton Sr., 49, died today.

I just got the announcement from Jayski.com,
but I haven't seen anything else announced on the internet.

We all know he was battling Throat Cancer.
He is in a better place now...

That is sad news. I had the pleasure of having dinner with him once in Nashville a number of years ago. A great loss to the racing profession.

Wow, i was wondering how his battle with cancer was goin. Really hadnt heard much since he left. Only thing they kept saying was he wanted to be back by Daytona in 07. RIP Mr Hamilton.
