Mine's a pic of me after a typical Friday afternoon commute home in Northern Virginia. ;)

I used to have the "Blue Star Banner" while my son was in Iraq. After he came home, I decided to swap it out. Lights go down, it’s dark
The jungle is your head
Can’t rule your heart
A feeling is so much stronger than
A thought
Your eyes are wide
And though your soul
It can’t be bought
Your mind can wander

Hello hello
I’m at a place called Vertigo
It’s everything I wish I didn’t know
Except you give me something I can feel, feel

The night is full of holes
As bullets rip the sky
Of ink with gold
They twinkle as the
Boys play rock and roll
They know they can’t dance
At least they know….

I can’t stand the beats
I’m asking for the cheque
The girl with crimson nails
Has Jesus round her neck
Swinging to the music
Swinging to the music
Oh oh oh oh

Hello hello
I’m at a place called Vertigo
It’s everything I wish I didn’t know
But you give me something I can feel, feel

Go White Sox!!!

No thanks needed...but extremely nice to hear none the less. Didn't get too much of that back in the day. It does my heart good to see our returning vets welcomed home. I was proud to serve my country and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Mine was one of the default Mercury Godshead avatar's that were available when I first joined the forum.

Just today I have changed it to the sepia toned photo of my Silver Birch MM.

Thought I'd revive this old thread I started many years ago since there are a lot of new members and some have changed their avatar.

Again, I love the 1960's TV show Hogan's Heroes, so my avatar is an image of Sergeant Schultz. "I know nothing, nothing".

Please post what your avatar is or what's significant about it.

Thanks,
Curt

I'm originally from Wisconsin, screen name is SC Cheesehead, I drive a DBP, hence the blue background behind the cheese wedge.

I change my signature photo fairly frequently, it usually contains some reference to Dachshunds (we have four of the little ankle biters), beer (one of the basic food groups), or both.

I got a kick out of the 1980 re-make, actually have it recorded on an old VCR tape in storage somewhere. IMO, Max von Sydow did a great job as Ming in that one.

It's just me hard at work. My company makes the machines used by companies like Intel, IBM, AMD, and other chip manufacturers use to make chips. The architecture for the PS3, XBOX 360, and Wii chipsets were all developed on one of my photomask tools at IBM.
