Earlier I posted the new Holden Commodore that is coming to the US next year. Check out these Aussie Fords:

Think Ford would sell a few of these in the US? Approx. 54k USD.

Those cars look a little like the Pontiac "GTO".

Even the 6 looks like fun. 400 ft lb torque!

Actually, it looks a lot like the Taurus. I'd often thought that when I was watching the supercar races on TV. Tauri with V-8s doing 200 mph. WITH manual transmissions. Maybe our govt's choke the heck out of us, but its drivers that dictate whether or not we actually get "Driver's" Cars on the lot. We keep asking for autos, then that's all they'll give us.
PS I know. I sound like a broken record on the subject of slush boxes. just ignore me...if you can.

I like the attitude of the Aussie cars, and I like the POWER. But, for some reason, once you get beneath the stripes and wings, they all look the same to me. Not that what we get over here is necessarily much better, but...??? Maybe they're paying all their money to the engineers and have to share a design team. :)

I'd still consider buying one if you could get them stateside though! (And assuming I could afford it, which is currently *not* the case...it was a stretch for me to buy a used MM...)

Exactly.

290 Kilowatts = 388.9 HP
520 Newton Metres = 383.5 Ft/Lbs or Torque

They could still take some cue's from the Aussie's
and put some spice in the line-up!!
