I just can't seem to get in a comfortable driveing position. The seat is just to high for my likeing. I have tried sugestions on tilting the front of the seat angle up and I still can"t find a comfortable position not even with the addition of a dead pedal. I,ve searched and found nothing on modifying the drivers seat so it may be lowered. Is there anyone that can help ? I do not want to change out the oem seat.:help:

Man, I know what you mean! I can't even use the sun visors because I sit so high. Miserable! All the Fords (except the Mustang and Focus) have this problem. I'd love to know what demographic they sized their cars for. I'll be watching this thread for advice. In the old Tempo, I took the mounts out and had them shortened by 1.5 inches. Can't do is with the new cars, though.

We are defintly not the only marauder owners that have this problem in trying to adjust our drivers seat to a comfortabe position. I would feel less fatigued after a long drive and more confident behind the wheel. To date I have apx. 20000 mi. loged and just can't get accustomed to the limited seating position.:baaa:
