Just wondering.

I like this place so far. Lots of other forums stink, IMO.

Others I check out/post:

The Corral

Explorer4X4 something or other.

Where else do youse guys post?

I won't name the forums I dislike.

Been to Blue Oval a couple times, even registered, but talk about an unfriendly, cliqueish, group, boy, I don't go back to the forums unless I need to get depressed.

I wasn't going to name names, but I got the same impression, seemed very sour overall. Never went back. Maybe it was just a bad night for them.

I found lots of info at crownvic.net but the same impression. I just go there to dig up information and have never posted due to the attacks I have seen on newbys when they ask questions. This place is the best, instead of just jumping on somebody for not searching to find information you usually get a tip for keywords to search for or a link to the thread you're looking for.

O.K. I just read back through the thread and see you guys are talking about sites you can post on. The above site is just for browsing. however it is very interesting to see just what is laying around in our great nation. Check it out, you can easily burn a few hours here.

This is home....besides 'Your toddler this month'

I'm sure Poke now relates to THAT one. We don't see much of Poke-Dad lately do we? After 2, the freedom comes back ever so slowly. :) :burnout:

mercurycougar.net is a good site. It is also run by Logan. It caters more to classic Cougars though instead of the MN12 like I have.

contour.org has a helpful group of good people.

tauruscarclub.com (for info on the Sable) is not as classy a site as this. Quite a bit of fighting and immaturity.

I have not bothered looking for a forum for my Villager :-)

I just took a peek at carsinbarns.com..I almost cried. It's heartbreaking to look at. So many rotting cars, so little time....must save them!

I split my time between here and MonteCarloSS.com ('cuz I got one of them, too).

I lurk on some other sites, but they're just not as friendly as these two.

This site just makes me:cry:

I had it as a favorite but I deleted it.

I know where a 65 or 66 Fairlane 4spd 427 is that has been siting for 10 years with the engine out, both heads off uncovered.
The guy just took it apart and there it sits.......................
I've gone to the door but he just says "get the hell out of here!"
At least it's on a concrete pad.

My background is strongly GM oriented. The Marauder only caught my eye because there is nothing like a big American Sedan that is also built to go around corners and has the proper look and stance.
Plus I couldn't afford a SS 7 years ago.

The other sites I go to are:

edmunds.com, which has very active boards and was how I found out about mercurymarauder.net
cheersandgears.com
cadillacforums.com
gminsidenews.com
thecarconnection.com
autoweek.com
packardclub.org
camaroZ28.com
thirdgen.org
scfyb.com (I own a IROC)

Non car sites:
avsforum.com
hometheaterforum.com
hometheaterspot.com
audioasylum.com

Thats about it.
