OEM Torque Converter

Question, should I keep it? Just spent a half-hour reading up on it and it looks as if my mechanic was mistaken: the MM TC is different, i.e, upgraded a bit, than the standard one found in the SOHC crown vic, GM's etc.

I asked him if there was any point keeping it once I got my PI3000 installed last week and he said no, and I left it with him, but now I'm wondering...

Did keep my OEM water pump and serpentine belt just in case the Meziere ever fails, but frankly couldn't think of a reason to keep the old TC.

It is a high stall TC, as far as I know.

Makes a great paper-weight (if you have about 300 pounds of paper to hold down)

Keep it...or sell it on ebay. It has value to someone, including your mechanic.
