Well not that I ever left so to speak. It all started on 1/06/07 with "flu" like feelings. Went to the Doctor on Monday moring and he put on some meds. Wednesday moring Debbie (wife) call me at around 9:10AM to see if I got through to the Doctor and funny thing is I stll do not remember her calling?

Debbie had to call 911 when she got home (20 minutes later) because I had collapsed on the living room floor. At first the Hospital Doctors thought is was 1- CHF(congestive heart failure), 2- septicemia(Generalized severe infection throughout his body), or 3- viral pneumonia.
After some test returned it was nailed down to a kidney infection. Shut me right down. Was in the hospital till this Monday afternoon and will be off work a two weeks at least. Took me this long to log in strart reading posts! Guess I am getting better.
Next time I let you all in any adventures before I embark on them, promise!:P

Glad to hear you are back on the road to recovery. Sounds like the same "stuff" that nailed me back in November. Started like the flu and ended up as pneumonia and kidney infection. Yep, two weeks is about right.

We are glad to have you back, and I want to be the first to say we know how embarrassing it must be when they found out they never made catheters that small, thank god for hollow micro noodles.

Jim, having gone through pneumonia in May I have one recommendation. Don't rush the recovery. You'll be weak for a while yet.

WOW Jim.
That is a story.

Almost three years ago, I had a cough.
It was just a cough. No pain. No fever. Nothing but a cough.
Liz, being a nurse, said to me "You are going for a chest X-ray.".

Well 2 weeks later, I was released form the hospital
after being diagnosed with Walking Pneumonia.

Stay home, and drink plenty of water and Cranberry juice.
You can add any brand of whatever you like into the Cranberry juice also.
And if you need someone to deliver it for you, you can call me.
You have my number somewhere...

Get Well Soon. We have a HOOTERS meet coming up !!!

Wow--close call--had the same thing 2 years ago--don't want to go thru that again--fever hit 103 + in less than 4 hours--good Doc, fast action--all O K now. Take it easy and you'll be good as new---you should be up to full speed by good-weather time--Now behave yourself and don't scare us like that again, Maury
