Many folks listen to TSO's Christmas albums during the holiday's. So...you are a big fan of those, but now the holiday's are over. What to do?

Well...first step is to check out TSO's non-Holiday album, Beethoven's last night. (You could also check out some of their other work like "Savatage" or their contributions on Henning Pauly's album "Babysteps")

But if you like TSO, you may have heard of Dream Theater. If you're looking for more music like those TSO Holiday albums, might a make a recommendation?

This is one of my favorite Dream Theatuer studio albums:

This live version (3-disc) contains live perforamnces of the above album as well as 2 discs more of DT history:

You may also consider checking out "Ayreon" : http://www.ayreon.com/ayreon/ay_index.html specifically the Human Equation and Universal Migrator 2-disc sets.

So yeah, TSO Holiday fans, there is life after the holidays, ;) plenty more where that came from.

So yeah nothing to do with Marauders I know, but then again good way to test your stereo is working in the car.

I was thinking of seeing O'2L (some TSO members).

Here's some site info:
http://www.o2lmusic.com/about.asp
They are currently touring.

Local joint - "O'2L - These are all members of the Trans Siberian Orchestra[/COLOR] performing without the tuxes and the $55.00 tickets! It is mostly intrumental with blazing guitars by Al Pitrelli (from Savatage, Megadeth, Asia) and sweet keyboards by Jane Mangini. $10.00. 9pm."

Cool Gerry,
I love the pitch-shifted melody and bass line in Riders on the Storm ! I may have to look into getting this CD. Great Smooth-Jazz that's not too vanilla! It has an edge to it.

Thanks,

J

Agreed! Have you heard Octavarium yet? Smokin'! That'll test out your stereo.
