Don't know if you guys realize it, but Benny Parsons past away
due to complications from Lung Cancer on 1/16/07.

Another legend has left the building... :cry:

I heard about it and I was saddened. He really did call the races better then anyone else I have heard in the sport

I was sadden to hear this a few days ago. Met the man once at Lowe's Motor Speedway after a race. Extremely nice gentelman... may he rest in peace.

Rest in Peace, BP. I always liked his commentary during the races. He was and is a NASCAR institution.

He was initially diagnosed with lung cancer back in July 2006.
