Pro -
1. NY Giants. Dad was born in NYC and grew up in north Jersey; though I've lived in NC all my life, from when I was little I would watch Giants games with him.

2. San Diego Chargers. I was a student at NC State during the Philip Rivers era...so since he is now starting in SD...count me in as a fan. It helps that I also like Tomlinson and they're a fun team to watch.

College -
NC State Wolfpack! Showed up in Raleigh as a freshman in '98; the first game I went to was the 24-7 victory over then #2 FSU, the goalposts fell and made it a mile or so down Hillsborough Street. Graduated in '02, worked at NCSU ever since then, season ticket holder since '04. Excited about the start of the Tom O'Brien era...can't go anywhere but up from last year...

Buffalo Bills, I'm from Rochester and been watching them since the AFL days. Still no super bowl win and none in sight for the near future...

The Denver Broncos.

I was born in Cleveland, OH, and my family was from Cleveland, OH, but I grew up in Boulder, Co. 1978-1986. My first memories of TV, John Elway was the quarterback for the Broncos...1983. Of course, the year my family decides to move back to Cleveland, was the year of "The Drive" 1986. My family being Cleveland Browns fans, and I being a Denver Broncos fan made the 1986 AFC Championship Game a little interesting. I was elated, my father heartbroken. The bad luck for the Browns continued the following year, which we like to call, "The Fumble". Where Earnest Byner fumbled the ball on the way into the endzone to seal the win for the Browns, but instead Jeremiah Castille, stripped the ball from Byners hands to send the Broncos to their second straight Super Bowl appearance...and the rest was history.

Since then, Elway went out on a good note. He won 2 back to back Superbowls, the first against the Packers, the second against the Falcons. I can't complain.

I hope the Browns can one day win the Superbowl...for my Dad. I hope he's still around to see it happen.

I like the college programs, mostly a fan of the Big Ten; but Alabama, especially when Bear was coaching, and Tennessee, because of their speed.

I like to watch the pros on tee vee, but hate to go to the stadiums because of the crass commercialism.

Visiting any College stadium, with their wonderful bands is a thrill beyond measure. Ohio State and Penn State's Blue band come to mind; especially, after the game, when the order for percussion is performed. :snare:

Attending an event with 100,000 fans in full tune is a never to be forgotten experience.

From the Pro's it is definately the Cincinnati Bengals. They are somewhat near by and I really like to watch them play.

From the College ranks my favorite team is the Lousiville Cardnials, but I love SEC football, by far the toughest confrence in the country.

The Detroit Lions...
Because no matter what "bad" happens... no matter how much rain falls into my life, no matter how much sorrow I have to endure... I can look to the Lions and say "Damn, I'll never suck as bad as they do".

Favorite team? Who ever is playing the Packers.

I live 50 miles from Wisconsin and it gets old. I see cars, bars, old campers, and even houses painted green and gold.

Every winter jacket at local Walmarts, Shopco, Sears, K Mart, ect is green and gold. They assume everyone is a Packer fan. It's every where you go.

Ironically I do respect and even admire Brett Favre. It's the Packers I can't stand.

Don't even ask me about the Vikings...:shake:

Boomer Sooner! OU is my favorite team because I grew up 15 miles from the stadium, and college football is 365 days a year here in Oklahoma. I've been to 64 games in the last 8 seasons including every home game of the Bob Stoops era.

I love the Chiefs.

I also love chefs that prepare a delicious meal that I can smell in the dining room causing my mouth to water in anticipation. I sit and enjoy the wonderful appetizers with my 21 year old Scotch but just as I think I'm going to sample the main course, the waiter drops it on the floor.

I also love beautiful women that tease me into thinking I might have a chance. The talk to me and pat my leg and giggle at my dumb jokes. And as we are leaving to go back to her place, her old flame Rodrigo whisks her away to his place to do what I was dreaming about and leaves me with the tab.

One other thing I love is when I have in my possession the winning multi-million dollar lottery ticket. I leave it in the glove box when I stop to get gas because it should be safe in there. That's when someone runs into the pump, sprays gas all over my car and makes a nice hot spark.

And I keep going back to my beloved Chiefs.
