This weekend The World of Wheels comes to Chicago and there is always this trailer selling B-Movies and hard to find car movies. I was thinking of getting five or so, but wanted to know if they are any good from you guys first.
1. Hot Rod Gang
2. Eat My Dust
3. Grand Theft Auto
4. The Car
5. Repo Men (seen it, now I gotta have it)
6. Death Race 2000
So thats my list. Are any of these worth it?

Hot Rod Gang is a late'50s, early '60s movie as I recall. May feature Gene Vincent?

Yup I just read that somewhere, but I first heard of the movie from a Stray Cats song with the same name. Is the movie any good, does Gene perform in it or just act? I hope Race With The Devil is on there if he does!!!

Eat My Dust had Ron Howard (Opie Taylor) in it. The Car is on TV all the time, it was good when I was 10, not sure now. I fell asleep watching DR 2000. You ask if any of those DVD's are worth it. Maybe at $2 a piece. In Toronto I can pick those up in Chinatown, 10 DVD's for $30 CDN.
Plus none of these movies have a Marauder in it:lol:

The Car is a sweet movie IMO. Repo Men, is that the one starring EMILIOOOOOOOOOOOOO Estavez? If you want a good '60's movie to get, buy American Graffiti.

Eat My Dust and Grand Theft Auto are both Ron Howard movies- no more than $5 IMO. My favorite notavailableonDVD movie is Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry- I tivo-d a copy a few months ago and have probably watched it half a dozen times.
Or how about Hollywood Knights? Michelle Pfeiffer is still hot!!

Sure that'd be cool. I have Amercian Graffiti already and it's from 1978.... but it takes place in 1962.

Death race 2000 is one of my all time favorite movies. Next to Rocky, this is Sylvester Stallones best film, ever.
I rented it once and copied from VHS to VHS. I now own a DVD recorder so I plan on putting it on DVD. It'll still look bad, but won't degrade further like my second-hand, ultra low-fi VHS version has.
I'd love to find a nice copy of this one on DVD.

I like the Wraith due to the location. I use to drive on those roads and Mt. Lemon Highway was a location for a lot of up/down hill racing from the 50's to the early 80's. You can tell on the first up hill horseshoe turn, just look at all the cars over the side of the cliff.
