What North American manufacturer (US) produced models with the following designations in the last half-century? -

Comet
Cyclone
Elite
Jaguar
LTD
Marauder
Maverick
Mustang

No, although FMC did produce models with these names, what other manufacturer?

If nobody gets it, I'll throw out a few other familiar names! :D

At first, I was thinking motorcycles .... but some of the above are foreign made (e.g Suzuki Marauder).

Then maybe ............ Rollercoasters ........ How about "Arrow" in California??

WOW! Being a traditional archer, I know some of those are Ben Pearson Bows, and was going to apologise for winning your contest so soon.
There was also a Marine company manufacturing Bass boats & such, but I don't recall the name. I think they also made trailers. Speaking of of trailers, there was/is an RV manufacturer, Palomino, I think, using some of those names.
Isn't it amazing though, that Ford is suing just about anyone in the world who thinks they have the right to use the name "Mustang". I can see the news stands now: Moostang Monthly, and Mousetang and Fast Frogs. :D

I've owned a Mustang and a Jaguar bass, and I once played a Cyclone guitar that a buddy owned. I saw a LTD for sale recently. I remember the Comet and the Elite. And you forgot the Bronco. I don't remember what the Marauder and Maverick were though.

What did I win? I hope it's a pony.

The Marauder was an ill-fated prototype with the pick-ups under the pickguard. It made the 65-66 catalogue but never made it into production. How ironic is that? The Maverick was a six string derivation of the "VII" twelve string.

I left a few others out for further hints -
Jag-Stang
Montego
(Robben) Ford Esprit
Competition (Mustang)
Bullet
NOS (New Old Stock)
Hot Rod
and of course Mary Kay(e)

Your pony will arrive tomorrow!

Thanks for playing!

Way to go, Dan! Instruments were the last thing I would have thought of.

I hope you like the pony.

I just love contests. :D

I've never been able to focus on just one hobby. The only advantage this gives me is that I know a little bit about a lot of different things
