I had an '05 Mustang GT 5-speed. I sold it with 563 miles on it to buy the Daytona. I was less than impressed with the balky shifter (even after installing a Hurst unit), choppy ride, and clunky suspension. I'm much happier with the Daytona. It as fun, it handled well, and the fit and finish was the best I've seen out of Ford in a while. But it just wasn't the car for me.

I like the Marauder styling a little better, but the black SRT/8 gives my

taste buds a run for the money!

Not an SRT, but a Daytona.

Honestly, if you had to pick between the Daytona and the Marauder, which one would you keep?

Tough question, since they both have distinctly different personalities. The Daytona is a better car (tighter, faster, handles better, more comfortable). But the Marauder is a car I always wanted, and is more rare (417 vs 2000). I don't know the answer to that question. I hope I don't have to make that decision.

Thanks for you input. I am having a hard time trying to decide if I want to take the MM plunge. Thankfully, you don't have to make the decision. You are very fortunate.

I have a 2001 Mustang GT with a Procharger and a bunch of other work done to it. I like it. Never gave me a problem. And even with 4.10s and 400rwhp, it gets decent gas mileage. I rode in a 06GT and those new ones are NICE!!!

Now on topic....A friend of mine has an SRT-4 with a few things done to it. It is a pretty quick car. I just worry about their longevity. I had a 1991 Talon TSi when I was 19. Very fast and with the AWD it handled great. Even in the Utah snow it never slid. But at 89000 miles the cheap azz rubber timing belt snapped and grenaded my engine. Just be careful....

I drove the hemi charger... didnt like it at all. Off the line the car had great get up and go! But in the mid range the car failed to produce any power. I felt it all come back over 90-100 mph.

Car handling was marginal to below average to me. Ride quality was blah....Seat comfort was lacking support. The car also shook alot over 60 and the brakes were ever so dissapointing. BUT, that car is alot of bang for the buck, no doubt about it.

With that being said, i sat in (not drove) the SRT 8 charger. WOW! NOW THATS AN INTERIOR! The seats held you tight like a glove! Now, im still waiting on one to come available used or even new for me to take a spin in. Everyone has told me its a world of difference between the SRT and the RT.

Theres my $.02

Hee-hee.. I ''owned" one the other night! Before my Trilogy I was scared of a Hemi Anything... now I'm talking SRT8s.

But I really like them... if I could get an AWD 6.1 Magnum I'd get it tomorrow... be an awesome winter car!

My Daytona has the same seats as an SRT8 Charger, and they are a tremendous improvement over base or R/T seats. The SO says they are the most comfortable seats she's ever sat in. The Charger is our road car, and she's very happy with it for that. And if she's happy, I'm happy :)

The Marauder is the covered-in-the-garage-get-it-out-on-sunny-days car. I plan on keeping it forever.

I'll probably get an SRT Charger when my Marauders quality goes down the tubes, but either way the Marauder will probably be around me the rest of my life.

Got an SRT8 - the Marauder is like the hot chick in high school that I never got a chance with. Oh well. You guys enjoy those slick sedans.

And after your little smoke display on Sunday, it's already due for a new set of rear tires.  Wish that I hadn't put the camera back in the car. :o
