I just got my hands on a 07 P71. I was looking to swap out the headlights, and replace them with the Marauder headlights, as step one in the car's improvement.
Does anyone know if that is a viable swap. Also, can Marauder headlights still be obtained from the local Mercury/Ford dealer? Thanks for the help.

MM headlight assys will not fit a CVPI. The MM outer corners, however, will. I would check EBAY and www.adtr.com for other alternatives.

According to whelen, the 07 P71 has different light housings than the 03+. In addition, I have seen many notices that preclude the swap of CV to GM or MM saying the housing is shaped differently.

This is offerred as second hand knowledge based on reading various materials. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the help guys. It figures that Ford would do that....just to make life harder. :mad2:
Well there goes that idea.....

Check out the HIDs from ADTR. I had them on my Sport (along with Marauder corners) and they're awesome.

You can put in MM headlamps, if you also swap the header panel to 03-05 GMQ/MM and the front bumper cover to 03-05 GMQ or MM

ADTR huh? What did they run you?
BTW I like the rims. Are they the steel police ones? If so what year.
I think I'd like yours better than the crappy 07 ones

If I had that done could the fog lights in the bumper also be connected?
Either way this seems beyond my home expertise.
I'd prolly have to get a body shop to do it.
I just drive the car lol.

Yes, the fog lights could be made operational.

I would do it like this for OEM-like operation w/ a high-beam cutoff (to meet DOT/state law requirements)

The HIDs are $700 or so, but are very high quality and come complete with everything you need, including 2 new headlamp assemblies.

The wheels are Cragar Soft 8. They won't work on an '03+ Panther, though.

Thanks for the offer...I have to figure out how much of a pain they would be to install first....or if I should just go with the ADTR lights

You know of any similar wheels to the Cragars that would fit my 07?

arent your stock wheels 17" steel wheels? I would rather have the stockers

Any wheel off of the 2005 Mustang (inc GT), 2003 and up CV, GM, TC, and MM will fit your CVPI. However, I do like the look of the 17" steelies.

05+ s197 wheels (excluding wider, aftermarket wheels - and perhaps the GT500 wheels) will be a direct fit on 2003+ panthers.
Of course, all 03+ panther wheels swap
