As long as we're checking out cool, fast cars, check this web site out-
http://www.ultimasports.co.uk/
One of my customers bought one of these and recently completed it. He has offered up a ride in it for me. I may not be able to withstand an F-18 Hornet, but I'm sure I'll enjoy this monster. Make sure you watch the 1/4mi and the 0-100-0 videos. They're violent!
A couple specs on his-
He went with the Chevy LS7 engine. Fuel injected 7.0l (427ci) modern small block producing 550hp out of the box (Z06).
It's coupled to a Porsche 911 6speed transaxle.
Total weight with 5gals. of fuel = 2204lbs. (He had to have it weighed for registration). That's 4 pounds per horse compared to 14 for MM's.
Rear tires are 335/40/18 on Momo wheels
Wilwood brakes all around with gigantic rotors
Custom SS headers with Flowmasters
The car looks violent in person when standing still. I can't wait for a ride!
Will report back,
J
