Ya, but not very well. So does Paris Hilton but I wouldn't use her to clean the carpet. Dennis

Got me !!!

Reminds me of something that I heard several years ago. "Nothing Sucks Like an ElectroLux" was the Japanese translation for a vacuum cleaner. Another marketing faux pas. :D

..... "Nothing Sucks Like an ElectroLux" was the Japanese translation for a vacuum cleaner. Another marketing faux pas. :D

While in Japan '63 -'64, I tried to get one of my colleagues to make a sign in Japanese that said: "The Army Sucks". We worked weeks on it; but since we couldn't come up with a Japanese word to say, and mean, exactly, "Sucks", and the closest word "Vacuum" didn't quite fit. Also, the meaning was somewhat lost in the translation, and it came out, "Reverse Wind".

We finally settled on a group of Japanese characters that sounded it out, and "The Army Sucks", ended up reading, "Ze Armee Suk-oou-sa." We had 'em printed up, and hanging over the doorways to day rooms, all over the place, telling the first shirt, they were Japanese phrases for good luck, harmony, and long life. For all I know, there's still one at Camp Zama. :D

Sadly, the art work on this treasure is long buried/lost in my box of old Army stuff, somewhere in the attic.

This \/\/\/\/ is good to know ..... ;) I thought it was the color. :D

Great tits are distinguished from blue tits by their larger size and black cap
