Heres a trip down memory lane, Does anyone remember this toy from the early 80's, Clyde's car crusher??

I was given this toy for probably my 5th Birthday, It was basically taking tin foil, wrapping around the mold of a car that the kit came with and then being able to put in the crusher which made the foil into a cube. Hours of fun for a kid.
However, I remember opening the gift, and having my cousins at the time playing with it which caused my Mother to put it away til a later date, That later date never came and I never saw it ever again after that day!
I have collected a large number of toys but this is the one I have been hunting for.

No luck on Ebay, This is almost the Holy Grail of toys from the 80's.

+1!!!! I got that toy when I was 10. I played with it from about 0800 Christmas morning until 2200 that night. Repeat said time tables for the whole holiday break. 5 or 6 sets of batteries later, the cable going from the controller to the bird finally gave out. Man, I loved that thing. I would probably play with it for hours now!

I don't remember either of those. Then again all I had was a bent stick and all the mud I wanted. :alone:

Do you remember the one that was like it? It was called "master caster" and you melted wax to make cars but they came with wheels. It was enclosed in plastic and looked like a little foundry. Toys were so cool when you could get hurt on them.

Hmmm anyone got a vertibird pic> Not sure i know what you guys are talking about. The toy I remember playing with was the Top gun F 15 fighter jets that made the sounds and I had the big foot and army jeep power wheels.
