Know of a good site I could look up what dreams mean? I have no idea what it's supposed to mean to witness a shooting. :confused:

Try Google. Its much more likely to have answers than a random post on a car enthusiast site.

It means that you are looking to do harm to someone. My bill is $250 per session, I'll PM you where to mail the check. :rofl:

Shooting

To see a shooting in your dream, indicates that you have a set goal and know what you are aiming for in life. Your plans are right on target!

To dream that you shoot a person with a gun, denotes your aggressive feelings and hidden anger toward that particular person.

To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun, suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. You may feel victimized in some situation.

Maybe you witnessed too many of your threads shot down and deleted by the Mods that you are having flashbacks.

In all fairness to Dominic, it's posts by others who have forced us to close those threads.
I for one would like some of our friends cut the kid some slack.

Remember what mom used to say ...if you have nothing constructive to add ....perhaps it's best to just pass it by.

That is not to say, an amusing quip isn't appreciated by most everyone, so long as it's not intended to be hurtful.

Let's enjoy our families, friends, cars, gadgets and quats. :cat:

Thanks BlueRauder that was more than I wanted. High-C I have never even seen a single Rambo movie, but I have seen and own Death Race 2000. MercModifier I don't drink at all, but I'm a nut for root beer. Thanks Steve for the site, now I know a little more about myself. Mike thank you for having your head on your shoulders, Rich you are a little man if poking fun at people is your form of entertainment. MERCMAN thats no nightmare, both have happened however I wasn't driving when the Marauder hit a pole 2 years ago. I can still laugh at the Kerosene and I was due for a new engine anway! :cool: Joe the dreams I have had like that didn't involve rain. Dennis thats funny, but I don't think that was that much food, those shells take up a lotta space and I'm still hungry after eating Crab Legs/Cakes or even one of those 70 dollar Lobsters. DefyantWife Opera wouldn't lie so thank you for your info! ;)

Actually you are right and wrong. We all have the abiltiy to dream yes, but we can stop. One of the reasons is due to alcohol consumption at a young age while the brain is still growing. If you haven't had a dream in a while it means you are brain damaged... so I was told. Than again I heard people only dream when they aren't sleeping at their best so if your not dreaming your sleeping well. Another thing I heard is people usually have 3-5 dreams a night, but don't remember them.

Steve I have a sleep disorder and use a "C-PAP" machine at night and while a sleep well I never hit the "REM" mode where dreams start.

Too many years of odd working hours.:(

I think Freud believed that all dreams are sexual in nature.
So... two hypotheses:

1. Someone you love is being treated badly by another. Your love interest is being "held up" by force of another.

or,


2. You want to impose your will on another because they are not responding to your usual advances. Frustation is causing your desperation.

The gun would represent the sex interest (phallic); you watching is frustration (helplessness).

Dreams....

I dream in full color, whether of not I have been drinking. I remember most of them in full detail. What a riot...

I love dreams.

I think they are just a recap of your day, thoughts, memories, experiences and imagination. You know, our brain makes most of its neorological connections as we sleep. That's why good sleep is so important to youngesters... Brain activity does not slow during rest, so what's it doing.....?

I wouldn't sweat any of your dreams Dominic. Just enjoy them. I don't think any dream has a bearing on ones future....Unless, of course, the individual puts too much emphasis on them.
