Hi everyone, I am about to pick up my "new" 03 Silver Birch MM, and am finding it difficult to locate a good tuner / shop in South Carolina. I find this site to be a wealth of information, and I'm excited to learn as much as I can about these cars!
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

My car has a DR tune in it, but it's three yrs old. If anything it does need a custom tune....

How far is Walterboro from CHarleston? I would do a Lidio tune, but he says with the DR stage II transmission kit, the Lidio tune would hit too hard... and it's too hard to get it right via the phone.....hmmmm

..at worst case...you are at 2 and 1/2 hours away frm DR's place--I would go there for sure for what you need... give him a call on Monday when he will be back from the weekend fun tour..........Tom

Still 4.5 hours away, but I know what you mean, he put a "stock" tune on the car 3 years ago, and the car has a Micromax tuner, but I think the new SCT II or even Diablo Predator has to have more flexibility... or am I wrong do you think??

You really need to get with me and see what a one year old DR tune with the SCT2 feels like...DR has probably some upgrades you will enjoy...
Walterboro is 45 minutes down Route 17a so you would have to pass through my area to get to it...

I am in Mt. Pleasant. I did not know there were so many MM owners in the area that were members. Any interest in setting up a local group meet?

Do you think DR would do it over the phone without going down there, and you're right, I do need to talk with you about the SCT II DR tune. What have you seen with yours that you love?

I wonder how many there are? I've seen two driving around DI and MT P, both black..

........ah .....a mornings drive--and in an MM its alot of fun anyway-----I'd still check with Dennis and go see him---as close overall as you are to him --I would if it was me..and yes, an SCT is better IMO...

no doubt an easy commute! I'm going to call Dennis this week and see what he has to say.. thanks for the comments guys! It's so crazy, I don't even have the car yet, and all I can think about is mods.... I used to have a 95 Mustang GT Vert... put a few bolt ons.. but nothing big, no money just out of school. Family came along had to sell, so the "responsible" thing, but the MM lets you have fun and be "responsible"... kick a**!! I love enthusiast automobiles!!!
