Im liking the free LED option to make the rim of the Fog lamp glow different colors.

Don't do it. I bought them, since I didn't think I could do my HID install, and this kit is NOT a direct replacement, and are actually way bigger than the OEM foglight's. It's ok though, I sold that kit to a friend of mine and got my money back and luckily got the HID's to work.

Thank you very much for saving me a headache, I thought they were too good to be true.

When you say trying to get your HID's to work, Did you have the issue where you hook everything up and when you turn the them on, the High beam light stays lit on the dash and the foglamps wont turn on?
I had that issue and had to sell my HID kit.

Not at all. The problem with the HID (fog's) is that for some reason on H1 bulbs, the little locking piece that you twist into the lamp, are not on the HID H1 bulbs. Me and my buddy had to do some cutting of the regular light and re-use the locking piece.
