That means the "G8" rolls on GM's brand-new Zeta platform, or "new global rear-drive architecture".

Old news. Personally I don't like it and don't think it will do that good like the GTO.

Not at all, it's a completely different car. 4 doors, different platform, personally I think it's a lot more attractive. It fits in the lineup where the Bonneville departed, but it's a lot more performance-oriented (at least in the high-end version I've seen discussed...not sure if there is going to be a "base" V6 model or not...)

If they "STUFF" a 350 ci V8 under that little hood it will have to come out the bottom to be worked on!!!!:argue:

I had a 95 Camaro in the late 90's and it was ridiculous to work on.....change spark plugs...7 HOURS!!:mad2: Back half of the engine was under the damn dash board!!!:mad:

BTW......I saw a new GTO this weekend and it had nice looking dual exhausts...kind of like ours!! The rest of the car looked pretty plain though!!:cool4:
