Rear defroster = static reception on radio

Why when i activate my rear defroster i loose almost all radio reception. it happens most of the time. there are some spots around town where it works no problem but more often than not i just get static

There's a module on the rear deck under the cardboard and next to the center should belt pulley. I beleive it's function is to interface the defog with the radio ant. Perhaps it needs replacement.

You probably have a break in your rear defrost grid.
