So...what's currently in your car's CD player? Be kinda interesting to see what people are listening to on the road... For me:

In Dash:
Dropkick Murphys - Do or Die

6-disc:
Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies
Aesop Rock - Labor Days
Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
The Who - My Generation
Genesis - Platinum Collection (Disc 1)

Right now...

1. Carl Perkins
2. 70s Punk Collection
3. Ricky Nelson
4. Live Cramps CD (ask DragCity about that one)

I forgot what the other 2 are, been listening to the Sirius radio lately. Basically real punk and real rock n' roll/rockabilly.

Turn the volume down very low. Running a data disk through an audio CD player can damage speakers with high volume.

Given that I currently am driving a H4 Subie I have a few CD's I listen to 99% of the time in my car.

However I must ask, wouldn't you rather listen to the engine in a Marauder?

Anyway what I listen to depends on the mood i'm in.

Usually:

Shania Twain
Lord of the Rings-Fellowship of the Ring Sound Track
Alannah Myles
I did pick up a Book on CD, it was dirt cheap, it is about the story of Longitude. I had to take it out of my car though as it is guaranteed to put you to sleep within minutes of turning it on.

I much perfer the better sound of SACD though and am terribly dissappointed that there are no SACD headunits for cars.

With the exception of the Lord of the Rings Sound Track, most CD's sound so flat. MP3's are even worse. I miss my old LP AM Vacuumn tubed HiFi.
