Hello all,

I finished an after market speaker install. I installed 6x9s in the rear. I agree with everyone's opinion on this. It was much easier once you get the seat cusions out.

Took me only 20 minutes to change out my rear speakers by simply popping the screens out up top and removing the four screws. Then its a matter of hooking up the wires then popping the screens back in. It would take longer to pull the seats then it would take to do the entire install.

Correct sir. Pop the grills and use a shorty phillips to remove. All of about 15 minutes to replace both

In his defense, if you look at the pics of the rear deck, There are no grills on top, you would have to either go underneth or pull the seats. Marauders have the grills on top to make life easy.

While your at it, reach over to the top of the subwoofer and pull out the piece of foam that vibrates in there.

True. I thought of that after I posted.
BLACKMARAUDER18 doesn't indicate what model he has, nor year.
Most of us have grilles.
I do recall seeing those without.

No grille = definately taking something apart.;)

04s have no grills. You must pull the rear seat, bench and back, to remove the package tray. once thats done its a piece of cake.
