Yeah, 2003 Harley F-150. 5.4L Supercharged, essentially the Lightning motor with different blower pullies to drop boost a couple lbs, detuning the motor to 340hp (Not for long mind you...) :D

Bought the 03 because it's covered in Centennial badging all over the place. The logo on the side is a Harley Davidson F-150 Centennial badge.

Please keep us advised as you keep bumping it up away from that stock 340 HP mark.

Lucky for you he didn't want to run. :D I lost to a Lightning on a 30-roll a few weeks ago. That's okay, it just fuels my fire for the LT4 conversion kit.

Logan, very nice ride indeed. You're stylin'. ;)

I can't remember what magazine I just looked at this morning but it had your truck,(F-150 Harley Supercharged Centennial Edition), the Dodge Ram 5.7 HEMI, and the Chevy Silverado SS battleling it out, your 0-60 times was the fastest of the three, Damn, can't remember what magazine,:bigcry: has anyone else seen this ? :help:

Nice ride Logan! No kickstart, but it does have a crank handle. I sure would love to have that engine in my Expy. It's an easy mod to get 380 horses ,there's an outfit that sells blower snouts with the Lightning pulleys for around $300-400,there's some kind of goofy way the Harley blower pulleys are attached that makes it so you have to change the snout to change the driven pulley. I was at US 41 dragstrip last year and saw a guy with a stock 2002 Lightning and he showed me a dyno slip of his truck, slightly over 400 RWHP,stock. I checked back and forth to a thoroughly modded truck parked next to it and it looked stock to me and the other Lightning guys there.Either it was a freak or Ford is under rating them.

Logan,

Very nice ride. Does H-D have matching leather kiddy seats?

Time to go Silverado SS hunting.

Best of Luck with it.

Sold the cougar.....sold the cougar.....I thought you 'couldn't sell the cougar.

Hopefully it covered most of the note on the fabulous truck.
i think this is just what the canadian texan was missing....a peekup truck!

BTW, 'That thang gotta hemi?'

Logan
06-19-2003, 05:33 PM
hehhee... It easy to get a L motor up to 400rwhp/500ftlbs... All it takes is a couple pullies, a chip and a CAI, and you'll be up 385-400rwhp depending on ambient temps nooooooo problems.

It's a pretty tricked out ride... Maybe I'll put a marauder back in the other slot... I could probably buy mine back for $20k by now...Ya figure? ;)

Bigdogjim
06-19-2003, 05:43 PM
Well go to Chicago and get Mac old one. Its race ready! Low mileage only driven on Sunday?
When we all get to Texas lets do a group shot of the truck and all the Marauders! :banana2:

WolfeBros

I keep looking at that picture. Damn good looking truck.
Logan, is that a factory paint scheme or did the dealer trick it up?
I have not seen one like it. But hell, I still haven't seen another Marauder on the road either. I have a feeling that will change in September around here.

It's a special paint scheme for the 100th anniversary. From what I've read there are special Black and silver leather seats too.

Does the HD truck come with a leather jacket?

Logan
06-20-2003, 05:03 AM
Yeah, Factory 100th anniversary paint scheme... I'll take some more pics and post em up in the gallery... :)

My wife wanted the Harley Edition....I even got on the web and checked prices for her before saying ummm noooo Hell noooo.....Lovely ride but I cant stand how expensive a P/U truck cost these days...Actually cant stand the price of any car but hey I am cheap and eat at IHOP cant afford Cracker Barrel (see snob test)

Dont count on it...the car is too cool:cool:

Logan

Adding the Kenne Bell requires a built bottom end, the stock rods aren't strong enough for all the extra power the KB produces... But it's one hell of a piece...

No one ACTUALLY pays that much $$$ for a truck... My Harley lists for $39115, I picked it up for less than $32k.

CRC! Cool! I trust the car is behavin' itself! :)

Hemlock, HDF150 = Heavier, classier Lightning. I love it. It has as much in the interior comfort department as Marauder did, has the practicality of a truck, and the power of a Lightning... Couldn't have picked a better vehicle if I tried...

My only complaint is it's obviously ALOT thirstier than the Marauder is in the fuel department, but once you get over the $60-90 a week in fuel costs, it's all good... :)
