I'm asking who has the traveling set of valve covers. I want to get mine chromed but since my car is, more or less, a daily driver it would be most convienent to have the extra set. I'll make them re-available as soon as possible after use. Please post or send me a PM, I'll pay the postage. Thanks,Pat

Pat I put a set on the road some time ago. I have lost contact with where they are now. Rich Long or Jimlam may know. I hope you find them. Dennis

AZMArauder sent me his "spare" set, I sent mine to Eric Mann, sorry I don't know his screen name.

Pat, I believe I have the set you asked about, which originated with Hotrauder.
I haven't had a chance to do anything with them yet (Durn Work!) but if you need them immediately let me know.
I'll just need your set by late summer.

Get a hold of AZMArauder and see if it is OK with him as this set started because of him and mine were going back to him after I do the swap.

Nice offer, but I got a lot in the pipe right now and your late summer/fall timeline sounded real good! No jax this weekend either. Maybe next. Dunno yet.

My powdercoater charged less than $125.00 for the camcovers and the coolant crossover tubes. Included al the prep work.

Thanks for all the input guys, we now know there are several sets available for substitution. Maybe we should start a register.

Interestingly enough there is an extra set here in my own home town.

Laughing Gasser has an extra set that he placed at my disposal this very evening. So I'm all set to go, I think.

Now isn't there a thread somewhere that deals with how to remove the cam covers? The local shops want $400.00 (gag).

Nevermind, I found it; MM.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8032
