I think we can all agree that the Marauder is a nice car. Some drive it daily, some....only for car shows. Either way, it's a nice ride

I am one that would like to mine looking good as new, for as long as possible. To help with this, I picked up a 1988 Grand Am 2 Door. The car has just 66K on it, but I purchased it with a blown Head Gasket. That has been repaired, and all is now good :D So far, w/ a little TLC, it looks like my Beater may be around for as long as the MM! :D

So, what does everyone here drive as a DD/WB???

That's my winter car for now. The MM is in my garage being modified some more... it's a winter thing!

The MM for now (no company car any longer)... See my sig for options in VA, but I'm looking for a 70's era F-100 p/u to commute with on the Eastern Shore to keep the miles off of the MM... There's almost 6K...

The Blue MM is my daily driver. Right now, she's about 25 miles shy of 40K miles. :D

I also keep my MM in the garage during the bad weather days.

I am daily driving a Grand Marquis LSE 2003 :D .

It is a quite rare model, with shifter on the floor and the 239 HP engine (stock). It was recently lightly boosted (forced air induction + SCT2 tuned by D. Reinhart) and it provides me with full satisfaction, even during the harsh Quebec winter. Make no mistake : with studded tires, this car goes everywhere and brings a lot of fun to its driver !

2000 CVPI .... I just couldn't bring myself to putting a tow hitch on the MM.

'89 CV. Been driving it 5 days/week in the summer and 7 days/week in the winter since 8-04.

I've replaced one set of tires and a set of spark plugs. Not too bad for a $400 car.

I guess you can say that my MM is my daily driver but I dont drive daily. The only bad weather it sees is rain, if it snows and i absolutely have to go somewhere I either get a ride or use my moms continental but this rarely happens because i carpool to work and school. My buddies understand and also feel that the Marauder is too good for the crap weather.

The MM for me is a DD. If it's a lot of snow, I'll take Dad's truck or my Mom's Exp. Well, I was driving a SHO for a bit. It's on eBay now so I'm back looking for another ride. Thinking of getting a mid 90's F250 7.3l diesel.

Right now the MM is my DD. Had a 2001 Ranger XLT, but Ms.CH traded it in on a new Escape Hybrid.

Just turned over 25k on the MM, fortunately I don't have too far to drive to work so I'm not racking up big mileage.

Would like to get another pick up or some sort of beater and garage the MM for "special" drives, trips, etc.

I gotz two beaters!!! (Actually when one breaks down I still got one).

'94 Crown Vic:
no A/C, power windows dead, Vent air only, heat still works, no park brake. (Afraid to take over 65mph, Oh, is the speed limit 60 max?)

'97 Contour:
Hanging in there with wire harness insulation cracks.

My MM is my daily driver. My backup is a 1997 Continental. It has only 52000 miles on it. I bought it when my Mark VIII was totaled when some one hit it while parked.

I have a 1996 Saab 900SE with a 2.0L turbo and a 5spd as my daily driver. Great on gas and great in the snow. Plus I dont care where I park or who hits it.

The Marauder comes out on weekends when the weather is nice.

My DD is a plain-jane 00' F150 pickup. Too many miles and construction sites for daily use, but I'll take the Marauder when I know I'll be at the office all day.

The Marauder will be my DD, right now me and my wife are sharing the 02 Explorer. Once I get the 95 Cobra up and running again, it will probably be my DD during cool months.

My DD is a 99 Ford Taurus...but have been using the MM quite a bit lately. Need to trade off with the kids every now and again. As in they get the T-rus and I drive my MM to work.

I have an '89 t-bird for a winter beater, great in snow and it has the same dot matrix on the dash as the Marauder! 400,000 km's and still runs like a top. The MM should come out of hibernation in about a week or so, as soon as the salt gets rained off the roads.I'm ready to burn some rubber!

I have a 98 protege as a daily in the winter and a bit in the summer, otherwise my summer daily is a 72 chevelle. MM for long hauls and weekends.

The MM is my only running car. I also have a '79 Malibu that is in storage with a dead motor...not likely to be rescued anytime soon so it will be the MM for a while.

At least I get to enjoy it every day! And my work commute is about 2 miles each way, so I don't put too many daily commute miles on it. :)

92 Crown Vic. 300,000 km, 4.6l 4v. She's getting a little long in the tooth.

A bud of mine imports cars, and I was considering buying from him a 95 Toyota Hilux Surf, 4.2l Diesel, 4WD with central locking, as a replacement.

My (recently assigned) company car, a 2000 CVPI, is my DD. This hoopD has 93K miles and a list of crap wrong!

If the weather is bad, I drive the company car, the F250 or the van.

I daily drive a 1998 Lincoln Continental that I purchased last year from a wealthy older gentlemen. It is comfortable, reliable, fairly quick, and dirt cheap. I think these cars are the most unrecognized values on the used car market.

I am planning on getting rid of it soon as I don't normally like driving cars that old, but it has served me well.

My DD is a 95 GM LX Hpp. It is former WSP but has the light gray leather interior w/digital speedo, traction control etc. I liked it so much I almost didn't consider an MM until the MM's came in ... well blue... I've had this thing about blue cars since the 80's.
The pic is a couple of Springs back on a Tulip run to Skagit county. I bought it late 96 with 43k on the clock and it now has just over 142k. I cornfuse some folks who aren't car people with the old car/new car thing. Someday when they are both clean I'll take some side by side pics. Cheers :)
