I just found this company that is selling low profile silicon wiper blades called Flexblade
http://www.silblade.com/
There are practically in my backyard. Looks like you can buy them locally from places like Goodyear Tire retailers.
Has anyone tried the Flexblade style already? Any comments?
They cost about $25 ea. EDIT: $22.50 ea.

Useless. Well, less useless than regular blades. Not worth it.
Some similar blades are sold up here, touting that they eliminated ice buildup, are less prone to wind lifting them off the windshield, and gave a streak-free wipe at any speed in any weather conditions.
They don't. They sometimes barely touch the window, especially in the drivers lower and passenger upper areas (at a stop light). They do ice up. They are less prone to wind lift at speed, but over 110 on the highway they don't work. They are mostly streak free, unless you get spreayed with dirty water, then they trap the dirt on your windshield.
And the clips that fasten them to the wiper arms are useless, and I've had $22 wipers fall of on the highway. They didn't even remain clipped to the arms from my place to the city (I noticed the were unclipped in my driveway, and re-fastened them).
Buy 3 sets of regular wipers for the same price instead.

I just got Rain-x Latitude on a TV promotion with Rain-x glass cleaner and some rain-x.
I been waiting for this type of blade to be available in the US. In Florida, wiper blades last 6 months in the harsh sun and they streak like mad from the rubber drying out. A while back I even started a thread looking for blades that don't lift. These haven't yet.
I spent about 40 bucks on the promotion including shipping. The most I've ever paid for blades. So far I couldn't be happier.

Did you actually use the Flexblade from Silblades? It doesn't seem so, according to your post.
I want to know if anyone has actually used this particular brand and style.

That's the current promotion. I think the promotion I participated in pre-ceeded the B1G1 promo.

No, they are sold under the name 'Reflex Wiper' at CT, and a number of other brand names in places like Part Source and NAPA.
