I have a question.
I have a set of headers for my 03/04 MM and i want to have them installed to the stock exhaust. Now can this be done w/o any problems like the cats burning up or cause any other harm? Any and all thoughts , suggestions and fun remarks on this would be greatly appreciated.
Oh , yes my car is Supercharged with everything else stock .

Why do you think the cats would burn out?
If you install headers like the FMS shorties I just had installed you'll need a new down pipe(s) as the flanges are different.

Ok it's not my car i'm askin about but someone who i know asked me this question and i didn't know exactly what to tell em except that doing it this way may not be optimal for performance and i thought it would do something bad to the cats or something.
I mean they want to put on the kooks to the stock exhaust till they can save more money for the rest.
yeah i posted the car for sale , i figured what the hey try it..

Dude, the car would be just like Dennis's. He uses Kooks mated to stock exhaust. I never looked at the cats. Give DR a shout.
