Slim jim works on these cars.... I had to do my 06 panther the other day.. better put the number in your wallet...any good tow service can get in your car in 22 seconds.... good luck... ford dealer should be able to give you original code.. you need proof of ownership and vin...

Once you get into the car change the code to something you'll remember next time.....

Start typing in random codes, a bunch of numbers very quickly and randomly (no pausing needed) or pressing 11111 very fast as a few times.
Sometimes the DDM will get confused and unlock the door despite being the wrong code.

there is a thred posted here a while back on the exact sequence that will unlock all cars with the keypad. eventually....i believe that it can take up to 20 min to complete the sequence which will go through all possible combinations to the door code.

Typing a bunch of random codes will cause the keyless entry to go into a sleep mode and not accept presses for awhile. Just tip a cop or wrecker driver a 20 spot to open it. Ford vertical locks are a no-brainer to open and even feasable with a coathanger. If you were locked out of a Chrysler Pacifica - you'd be majorly SOL. Bend a piece of stiff wire 180 degrees so it sticks straight up about 6" and try to get it under the lock button by passing under the passenger door glass- lift firmly straight up under the bottom of the lock button. I did this on an Econoline when I didn't have my lockout tools with me. NEVER try to unlock Marauder at the driver door, you might gut the keypad.

Check for the code on the trunk hinges and the drivers side "A" pillar. If not there you'll have to either take it to the dealers or take off the drivers side door panel.

Now that your in...My code was on a sticker on the back of my owners manual.
I did not know my code either. The Dealer called the former owner and he or a previous owner had an original sticker...and stuck it there. Just a thought worked for me.
I will have to look to see if the code is on the trunk hinge as well.

Refer to the manual and program your OWN code. Much easier to remember.

Note: even if I lock my keys in the trunk, my cellphone is always clipped to my belt and gets outta the car with me. I have a phony entry in my cell phone address book with the keypad code as the phone number in case I forget it. It has saved my bacon once or twice in the last couple years. Works for me, depends on how cellphone attached you are.

I use the ICE system --In Case of Emergency. Home number, and what ever else. Most phone allow at least 3 numbers, home, work, cell.

I just checked mine and my custom code still works fine. Battery has been disconnected countless times by me and the shop over the past 3.5 years.

Knine^^^^where exactly is you code on the trunk hinge? I was looking over my MM this afternoon, in good daylight, and did not see such a sticker anywhere. I assume this is on a sticker and not stamped into the metal. Did you or a previous owner put the sticker there? Like I said earlier I have a sticker on the back of my owners manual that a previous owner put there.
...........just wondering.

Sorry you got locked out Bro. Thought you were coming back to Buffalo...
Just so you all know. The cars come new with the stickers on a card. It is a person at the dealer, or the owner, who places these stickers in various places. Mine are all still on the original card. I think there are two of them. To me, this is a number that should be commited to memory. I do not want someone to see my code. I have not had my inner door panel off, so I don't know about that....
On a side note: I , myself, do not agree with adding another code. It increases the numbers that can be pushed randomly to gain access. Just a personal mathmatical phobia....

It's on both trunk hinges, a sticker, black on white, visable facing out to the back of the car when the trunk is open. I didn't even know, it took my friends 14 year old to piont it out to me. He then entered it, popped the trunk, the door locks, etc. Wow, shown up by a fourteen year old again. It's like I was at work again ;)
