You don't have to buy a whole crate motor either! They sell carburator ktis that include the new intake mainfold as well as the carb set up. Should make for an interesting project!

what many people don't know, is that common Holley 4 bbl so widely used today, and the Carter AFB, were developed for Ford in 1957. Ford had designed a new 4bbl with a new base pattern, but couldn't produce enough of it's own carbs.
There is also a retrofit distributor ignition kit for the MOD engines.

Wow!
I see they make a tri-power version. Always had a thing for tri-power after owning a '65 Goat (wayyyyyyyyyy back when!)

Does anyone know if they have installed a 4.6 into an aircraft? It has been done with the chevy 350, both the old and new motor.

COOL! I love the Tri Power! I have to say that the 32V 5.4 with the Dual Quads and the Tunnel ram intake looks mighty good! Somebody should put that in a marauder! (never mind the height issues) Awesome!

I suppose we could put wooden wheels on the car too.

If I went carb, it would be after I put in a 6-speed stick.
