Eric Medlen Passes

Sadly, Eric Medlen of the John Force team passed away from injuries suffered in testing at the Gainesville track in Florida. I didn't realize until this happened that he was from my home town. I never met him, but know his uncle. Prayers and sympathy to his familsy

Yeah, I saw that his tire blew and he crashed into the concrete at Gainesville. Not a good thing. I read someplace that statisticly, drag racing is right up there for fatalities in motorsports though you wouldnt think so. They are going so fast now there is no time at all to react to problems.
