I still have to keep my 89 Towncar clean, and the one area that ticks me off is the black vinyl top.

Anything that gives the top a shine tends to leave black run off lines on the white car body after rain. If you don't wash the car for a while (like the way it's been raining here in the northeast) the run off has to be waxed off.

Any product suggestions?

Back quite a few years, I was able to find a product called nu vinyl (I think) that was a clear liquid that really shined the tan vinyl top on my 72 LTD Brougham, but I can't find that product anymore.

I entered this thread fearing the worst...

Nu-Vinyl SHOULD still be in production, cause their wax is... If nothing else, use some saddle soap or leather conditioner, followed with some Armor-all protectant.
