View Full Version : Is the sunroof a factory item or added by dealer?

Just curious if they use a vendor (asc/solaire) or if they are factory style. Tnx Richy

It's a factory option, but it is not done at the factory. It is sent out to a facility call "crown" something, can remember the full name, which I believe it just a couple miles away from the factory.

I believe all 2003's were installed aftermarket.
The 2004's were done at the factory by a vendor.

For 2003 Marauders the sun/moon roof was not a factory option.

For 2004 Marauders the moonroof was a factory option that was not installed on te assembly line, was installed at another site.

My 04 Has a Solair (nice roof BTW) that is installed. Looks like a factory job and closes when you turn the car off..
