Other than the most popular areas to pour Seafom into (crankcase, fuel tank) how many of you have poured it into your PCV line. I've read some old threads but I didn't get I good feeling about doing this just yet. If I do decide to pour it into the PCV line, what part of the hose do I pull out (intake or PCV) and pour towards.....I'm assuming it's the intake part......I know what a knob......

Using Seafoam though the PCV line or the brake booster line is very common. I've done it to my '99 Taurus a couple of times and it seemed to help throttle response and make the engine idle a little smoother.

Generally I only recommend using Seafoam that way on cars with an unknown maintenance history, or where the maintenance was known to be sub-standard.

I've owned The Blackbird since new, and I put a bottle of Techron in the tank 3-4 times a year to keep everything clean. You could also do that with Seafoam.

Techron By Chevron is the best fuel additive IMO.

I did it through the PCV and it worked out great for me. It seemed to have smoothed out the idle.
