Yes. But really, look at the MSRP. People say the Marauder is priced too high, yet that's OK for a Grand Marquis?
Which would you rather choose at that price?

Hey that is where I got my MM!!! The dealership is OK.....they do have a bunch of GM's and 8 MM's on the lot...all black. They don't know crap abou the MM either.....

But the days I have been in for service and the day I bought my car.....I must have seen at least 8 old couples taking delivery on a GM......The old guys love em.....

I agree. When I was at Reedmans a few weeks taking pictures of the vinyl top marauder there was a LSE sitting next to it on the floor at almost the same price! The Marauder as only about $1500 more?? Does not make sense????:help: :confused:

I think Florida is #1 is sales of the Grand Marquis. Seems like every other car on the road is a GM. IMHO.

Grand Marquis is a great car, and Florida is #1 in the country at selling the GM. A LOADED Grand Marquis has a MSRP of $32,100.00 it is actually "total before discounts" $33,095.00, but, all the Grand Marquis' have a "leather at no charge discount" of 995.00 taken off the total.... Before adding any dealer installed options, the Grand Marquis is a little over $3,000.00 less (sticker price to sticker price) than the Marauder. (If you add a roof option, then the Marauder is going to be somewhere around $36,500.00 MSRP)

Average age of a Grand Marquis owner is 71. The whole idea of the Marauder was to attract a younger clientele. I believe I read that the average age of a Marauder owner was 51. The idea was working......wonder what would have happened had the car been marketed properly? :confused:

Actually I read that the average age for Marauder owners is more like 45. That may even be high though, considering posted ages here of Marauder owners

Well keep in mind it is an average......but most SS owners I know are around 45-50....so it might not be that far off......

Someone did the average age of people on this site awhile back......I believe it was around 45. The national average that I read (some damn place) said 51. Time has passed since both of these averages were done......it is not static and I can assure you it has changed some more. FWIW.:rolleyes:

I think even Mercury's stated demographic average age is 45.
At any rate, I think the average owner age is below 51.
