....does it seem like when some of the long time members of this site are leaving, young people are coming in? Like I haven't ever seen this many people in their 20's and some before that age on this site more than I see them now. Nothing wrong with that at all and I've been on here since I was 17 anyway, but does anyone notice this or am I just slow to notice?

The first generation Marauder owners are now selling their cars and a younger crowd are now able to afford them.

Yeah, closer to 40 than 30 :(, but yes, I do see a new wave of members. Not really a bad thing unless we really do loose the older, wiser members at the same time. Good friends and great resources are hard to come by.

This is EXACTLY what is occurring!
It sucks when some of the membership decides to leave when they sell their MM. However, there are at least a few who no longer have a MM that stick around
This is how a group grows :D

I believe that's EXACTLY what's happening.
Steve and Rich are correct on both subjects. Boredom also sets in and people move on.

I'm first generation and still got it. Had the car since I was 16 when it had 13 miles on it from the dealer. I see your points though.

I'm darn close to being a "first generation' owner. Bought my '04 in '04 with 19k miles.
Don't have much to add to Marauder discussion though. I'm still 100% problem free and 100% stock. (at least until it warms up enough to install my SS inserts).
We'll see though. There are several mods I'm looking at. Don't expect a lot of Marauder posts from me. The search button can handle most of it.

Just have an issue with posts that have nothing to do with a MM or even cars in general...... IMHO all those posts belong on some other message board. I don't read the threads.

I guess that is why we have THIS (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25) Forum, and all of that stuff is supposed to go there.

I am glad that we live in this wonderful country, The United States of America. We have the freedom to read what we want to watch on TV what we want and if we don't like a topic or program we just do not have to read it or watch it.

Then why the hell do you belong to the MCM?
Every 1 in a million posts over there are MM related.
YOU make no sense.

I'm new sorta. I joined several months before buying a MM. I finally found one I could afford without paying $500 a month or so. I'm happy with my car and I waited for the right one.

I actually got mine used 3 years ago when I was 25. I did, however, trade in a fairly new 2 year old Crown Vic Sport to get the MM. :D
