Damage to a '97 T-Bird after a 75-100lb deer ran into it.

The wife is OK, no injuries 'cept to her nerves.... nothing a few drinks couldn't cure.....

At the body shop now, should get it back soon. Almost $2,400.00 damage.

She used to focus on squirrles.... guess she's graduating to bigger game.

Ouch! Thankfully the Mrs wasn't hurt. Did the airbag go off? Thank god for the swept back windshields and wedge front ends on the T birds, the deer must have slipped right over the car.

Two things, we use and swear by those deer whistle thingeys, from Wall Mart ~$8, and is that a super coupe? I thought that red was reserved for those exclusively.

That's a bummer. She must have hit that one just right. I pasted a bambi with my '97 Thunderbird and just put a little dimple in the hood just above the Thunderbird emblem.

The deer I hit was smaller than a dog though. It flew right over the roof. I was doing about 50mph.

Airbags didn't go off. If they did the insuranace co. would have totaled it.

The deer actually ran into the side of the car, slid up the hood and off the left side of the car.

Not a Super Coupe, plain-jane V-6.

The deer around here are the size of large dogs... alright..... maybe Great Danes. I think this one was no more than 100lbs.
