anybody know which wire off the coils is the tach signal wire

Why? You have a tach. Not sure if it changed, but in my '95 CV I had to splice into the 2nd wire furthest away from the firewall on the driver side. Hence where the DIS module is. I believe it was a vanilla-ish colored wire with an orange stripe.

Yep, go to ANY injector or coil and get the wire THAT IS NOT red or red/light green.
