Well for those that know me I have been looking for a new job for quite some time. It is boring here doing what I do and not a lot to keep me busy, actually very boring. The reason I am on here so often during the day, this will probably change and I will not be able to log on as much anymore.

I am staying in the same field just going to work for a different govt. contractor. I will also be in the same building most of the time, moving out of the 'dungeon', two stories underground, to a office with windows. UGH! I am not going to want to be here on nice days. At least with no windows I can't tell if it is nice outside. I regress, I also will not be working with the Army anymore will be with the Navy department, damn 'SQUIDS'.

Well wish me luck, this is something new and will be working hands-on with some neat stuff and more technical. As the saying goes; 'The penalty for carelessness is death'.

I start after the first of May so if you all don't hear from me don't worry I will still be around on occassion. Tell my wife I love her and you all play nice while I am gone.

I didn't know that you worked in the Maternity Ward. :jk:

Congratulations on the new job and moving on UP in the world... even if it is just 2 floors out of the basement of the science building. :D

:congrats:

This'll add at least another minute to your daily commute so you can walk up 2 flights.

Gordie, never would have guessed your new job would not have included bungy cords and a giant slingshot. All the best. Can you see any base jumping oportunities from your window? Dennis.. Oh, Chris...He loves you.:D

'The penalty for carelessness is death'

I know this well in my job. I make a mistake, people can die.

Good luck.

Congratulations on the new job Gordon and Welcome Aboard Shipmate! No longer a Bubble Head (below the waterline Sailor), now your a Surface Puke. Or like the Bubble Heads call everyone other than submariners, "a target".

Glad to hear you found something interesting! Good Luck!

Gordon,
Congrats on your new position! I will raise a glass of Port for you tonight! A view is a good thing. Dungeons can be depressing and make you drive squirrely (sp?). We wouldn't want that now would we???

Best luck in your endeavors with the "squids" (I work with a bunch of squids, they're not that bad!) and keep flying high,
