CLUNK Trans

[GA-Marauder]

For the last few days, during shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, a very audible CLUNK http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif can be heard from the transmission. http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif I have 30K miles, and as can be seen from my sig, xcal2 & tune, built trans and PI 3000 stall TC. Opinions!??? AND anyone from the Tampa Bay area with a recommendation as to Ford/LM garages for diagnosis/service of this problem. Loose drive shaft flange at the rear end......or a u-joint??:confused:

Fairly easy to check yourself but much easier on a rack:D

Don't know your mileage but it looks as it your 3 years warrentee run out like next Monday. I would go the your Dealer TODAY to get it checked out. Good luck. Dennis
