This is the weekend of April 27, 28, & 29. Or 427, 428, & 429.
I say we declare these the Cobra Jet Days. It should be a national holiday spent driving anything with one of these engines. For those who don't have one, they can watch the racing !

I guess I'll drive the MM today, but I'll drive my 76 F150 crewcab tomorrow, it has a 428, then I'll fire up the 71 on sunday, it has a 429. although its not a cj.

IF I were smart I would still have my 1970 Super Cobra jet Torino to drive on the 29th.
It had the drag pack with the 4.30:1 detoit locker and 31 spline axles from the factory, shaker hood scoop, solid lifter cam.
However gas prices had gone up to an outrageous .60 per gallon ( or something crazy like that) and it had to go.:(
