Your rear air bag on the suspension may be done...

Thanks for the quick response! That sounds expensive. If you know about how much it is to replace it pleasae let me know. I know that the dealer is going to try and kill my pockets! This just happened yesterday but the car still runs and drives just fine. When I start it up the air suspension raises up just fine with the sound of the air motor. Should I turn the air suspension off? Thanks for your help!

I had it covered by extended warranty(fortunately), the price was in between $1000-1300 CAD.
Also :welcome1: to mm.net!

Should I turn off the air suspension for right now? And in the future before racing should I turn it off?

No, keep it on...Keep it off may make the problem become worst..

How about some clarification here, you stated "Air Bag" light came on
or was it the "Air Susp" light. 2 different lights 2 different problems.

The AIR BAG light is on.
I don't believe that is the air suspension.
The Marauder is equipped with 4 air bags. Two in the dash and one in each front seat. Have it checked asap as it is a safety factor.

The AIR BAG light deals with the Supplemental Restraint System,
the air bags in the passenger compartment for crashes. It does
not have anything to do with with the air suspension in the rear
(i.e. springs). You have had a failure in one of your airbags,
probably the clockspring in the steering wheel, but your dealer
will figure it out.

I'm hoping that it is just a sensor and it is not too costly! Thanks guys for all of your help!

Is the light on steady or flashing? If it is flashing, what code is it flashing? Count the series of flashes then it will pause and lash another number of times, that's the code.

Is the light on steady or is it flashing, and if it is flashing count the flashes it will pause and start flashing again count the second string of flashes. I can try to look up code if you tell me flash count ie:
flashes 3X pause flashes 2X =code 32
Most of the air bag system is under the Federal 5yr/50,000 mile safety restraint warranty, pretty much the only way there isn't coverage is if system was tampered with or modified

Check the connections to the seat under the drivers side and passenger side seats. Chances are that there is something under the seat that moved one of the harnesses enough to cause the light to come on. My driver side one comes loose alot and the Air Bag comes on.. it flashes, then stays on steady.
quick easy check to make sure that everything is connected securely..

Unless its one we looked at on Sunrise highway, I recall the sticker said it had 6 airbags :shake:
Probably something minor with the SRS system. The dealer should have no issues covering that.

If your MM is under 5 years of age and has less than 50k, the air bag light concern will be covered.
As for the 6 airbags, there are 4 in the MM, and the other 2 are female relatives who yell at you while driving 5 MPH over the speed limit.*
