How many miles...

Just out of curiosity, how many miles did your Maraurders have on them when you took delivery. Its been a while since I had a brand new car and was wondering what was the norm and to see if a car was used for test drives. My dealer ordered mine cause I didnt want the CD changer, but it sat there for 2 weeks after being delivered. I had put a deposit on it and it was earmarked as mine from the factory, and I was wondering if it got used or abused before I picked it up......

Mine had 46 miles on it. My 97 Cougar had 50 miles and my 97 Villager had 95 on it.

Well. Mine was used for test drives and had about 120 miles on it.

If this was "yours", With a money deposit on it, and it had more then say 15 miles on it, I would have someones short and currlies. It should have rolled of the line, onto a truck, then to the train, then to a truck then to you.

I test drove one with 475,and drove it VERY hard.
My car had 3.7 on it when I drove it off the lot.
I have been trying very hard to stay out of the sweet spot,You Know What I mean,I've heard the Cobras realy like a nice break in so I'm trying to do the same.

Mine had 28 miles. I now have 430 total in one week. Love the Car!

Got mine with 10 miles on it. Don't think too many, if any took it out for a test drive, though at least 3 or 4 folks had some interest in the car. Guess I just bought it out from under them.

I've got about 5300 miles on it already. Have driven from Kansas to New Jersey and back a couple of weeks ago. Have not seen ANY on I-70, much less in Jersey, and I was looking.

Mine had 11 miles when I test drove it, had 31 miles on it when I bought it. That post with the Mustang even made our Chevelle site! I've seen it on a Camaro site also. Man, that's free advertising that you don't want.

Mine had 11 miles on it, I consider that reasonable. It was ordered and when it arrived I was called, picked it up the next day. It was not used for test drives at the dealeship.

Guys & Gals,

If you are purchasing a car especially if you put a deposit on it upfront ... no one and I mean no one should be putting miles on that car. It's the law ... well at least it's the law in my neck of the woods. So if you get a marauder with some mileage on it and decide to purchase and put a deposit on it at that point the car should not driven again until it leaves the lot with you in it.

2.1 miles.... I wanted one with the CD 6 pack and it was buried in the back of the lot... I test drove the one easiest to get out.

From a consumer view I wish dealers would have one demonstrator, of each model, like they use to do... I do not want a car some clown "test" drove while he was bored on a Saturday afternoon...and then it's the only in the right color (obviously not a Marauder issue:rolleyes: ) or with the options you want....if a car has 300 miles on it it aint new...

Got mine with 75 miles on it. Picked it up on 6/17 after finding out my dealer lost my orginal order? Thought I wanted the 6CD changer,but could't wait any longer,it was delivered to the sister dealership on 6/13 and on 6/14 I test drove it.When I first drove it it had 35 miles on it ,then they drove it 30 miles to my perfered dealership.
