Forget that I would rather get a Fleetwood Cadillac for $8,000... but I guess it is a big deal if your into that show.

I used to know a guy from Windsor that had a car from the tv show. He'd come over and cruise with us. Was a cool car, but he couldn't touch any of the lil dents or dings in it because it would affect the value. It wasn't a show car by any means, but was original from the show. It was signed in the trunk by Bo & Luke Duke too, lol... He has pictures o f them signing it and other documentation... I wonder how much it'd be worth today???

Only 3 years ago I was walking down Young Street in Toronto. About 11pm, I suppose on a Friday. Pretty boring street, not even many pedestrians (and no good blues/jazz bars that I could find). However, as I was strolling along, I started to hear some familiar strains from an old classic TV show. I couldn't imagine who, in 2004, would be on Young Street blasting out the theme song from television's Dukes of Hazzard. I guess I should have expected what came cruising around the corner. Yup. A '69 in full Dukes trim, two good 'ol boys behind the wheel - plaid shirts and all - windows down and the theme song playing over and over. Very entertaining. Very nostalgic. I remember in the 80's when almost every small town, city or county had a Dukes rendition cruising the streets. Good times!
Something very stirring about that car, though. Probably one of the best creations to come out of Chrysler Corp. But then again, maybe that's just the nostalgia talking.

That's such a joke though. $2.3 mill just for a Charger? I would like to see this thing on Barret Jackson and see how much it would sell for over there.

I saw one outside of Frankenmuth Michigan for 16k last summer... It was in great shape and I even heard it start and it sounded strong. 2.8 mill... I don't think so...

A mfriend of my neighbor had one from the TV show, rough but ran good. They made a number for the show.

The price is a joke.

62 bids. The owner must have a lot of friends. I smell a scam.

True, but the bid is now $9,901,000??? Uh, scam or insane. The top bidder's history shows mostly hunting equipment and knives over the last 30 days.???
