I haven't looked at my driveshaft loop (bought from DR) in a while, not sure if it is two piece or not.?.

If single piece and have to disconnect the drive shaft, where is the best place to disconnect driveshaft to slip it on?

If it's the Metco hoop (http://www.metcomotorsports.com/), it's a one-piece unit. You have to unbolt the driveshaft at the rear where it connects to the rear end, slide the hoop on making sure it's oriented properly, remove the front inner seat bolts of both front seats, use the supplied longer bolts and nuts. I ordered mine directly from Metco and it came with all the necessary hardware and instructions.

He knows he has a PM because it pops up RIGHT IN HIS FACE.

Unbolt the d/s from the companion flange and let it come down - then slip the loop over the d/s and reattach (after it's bolted to the seat bolts, that is)

Make sure to buy some locktite before hand for when you reinstall.

Not a bad idea to mark it so that the reinstall matches up. Dennis

Ahh...but did you powder coat it first? ;)

The local Dealer did mine for free during a routine oil change.

It was already painted black (Metco). Not sure if primer only.
