Thanks to one of my friends I can finally hear what my setup sounds like, 2nd pair of cats removed, 40 series Flows and 3.5 res-del tips with the rest of the piping being stock. Just can't wait to get LT headers, 3" H-pipe, Super 44 Flows mufflers, 2.5" rear section and 4" res-del tips.

Sounds good, I like it. Which pair of cats did you remove...what are cats (hated to ask that one...I know what they are, what do they look like)...is it legal without them? will you still pass emissions?

2nd pair along side the transmission are the easiest to get to. 1996 and up vehicles in MD get the OBD-II scan, no treadmill test and the one I always go to has the "cool guys" that just ask a million and one questions about the car and could clear less as long as it drives in and drives out and doesn't have an exhaust leak.

And I would have considered it as a cheap mod soon...:(

Guess I will have to make it louder some other way.

Looks like you need a high stall convertor, That launch off the line could have used a little more smoke

If you do cut out your cats take em in for scrap. Like someplace that takes copper and aluminum, They will give you quite a bit of money for them. Here where I live people have been cutting cats off of cars with a electric sawzaw and scrapin em. They gat maybe $50 a piece becouse of what the guts are made out of. So you get sound some performance and you get paid for it!

My friends and I had been waiting around at my shop for hours for our other friends to get finished with installing a cat-back exhaust system on a 2006 S2000.
